Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 from 11:00-11:30AM (Virtual Field Trip via Zoom over April Break)
Project Launch visits Harvard University's Radcliffe Institute! Phillip B. Williams is researching, writing, and revising poems (title: “Mutiny”) and prose (title: “Threshold”). Within both genres, he hopes to research and explore Black folklore, African-diasporic mythologies and spiritual practices, and alternative ways of documenting Black selfhood outside of the human/nonhuman dichotomy.
Project Launch teens will get the chance to meet Phillip B. Williams and discuss his work! To learn more about work and the poetry reading, visit: https://www.radcliffe.harvard.edu/people/phillip-b-williams
